Five In a Box

Five In a Box

After work one evening, I headed back to the parking garage and noticed a tiny black kitten darting in and out of my engine compartment. What I thought was one scared kitten turned out to be two. Both had wandered from a cardboard box nearby, where a total of five kittens had been left behind. Heartbreakingly, two hadn’t survived, and another was too weak to climb out. Each of them were skin and bones, covered in fleas, and clearly in desperate need of help.

I called every shelter and nearby vet I could find, but no one was able or willing to take them in. I lost one of the kittens while searching for help, which for me was an incredibly frustrating experience. In desperation, I called Judy. She guided me through giving them flea baths, ear drops, plenty of wet food for hydration, and dry food for calories. We added a quarter tablet of System Saver to each meal to support their little bodies as they recovered.

Today, those kittens are healthy, absolutely beautiful, full of personality, and completely convinced they run my house. Honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
